The rapid urbanization and industrialization of a country tends to generate large volume industrial waste in the environment. In this sustainability era, feasibility recycling has gained attention by researchers industry practitioners. Silicomanganese (SiMn) slag is common produced ferro-alloy smelting plant Sarawak. This paper intends present review on SiMn into more sustainable construction material. A desktop study been conducted explore its engineering aspects. Review indicated that potential be recycled as an alternative cementitious By replacing cement with slag, it will not only bring positive impact economical aspect but also environmental aspect. suggestion critical responding call Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) being responsible products consumption production through promoting use generated wastes.
